The Deets

Begonia 'Ashura' is a striking Japanese-bred collector Begonia prized for its dramatic foliage and rich contrast. Bred by Yumiko Yamaguchi in Japan, 'Ashura' features elongated, velvety green leaves patterned with shimmering silver markings, while the undersides develop a vivid crimson-red tone that makes the plant just as beautiful from below.

Adding even more charm, Begonia 'Ashura' can also produce delicate clusters of soft pink flowers that stand out beautifully against the darker stems and colourful foliage. With its bold colouring and elegant growth habit, this cultivar makes a stunning statement in any indoor plant collection. It thrives in bright, indirect light, moderate humidity and a well-draining potting mix, rewarding the right conditions with beautifully patterned foliage and seasonal blooms.

      Shipping & Delivery

We know sending plants through the post might sound a little daunting, but your leafy friends are tougher than they look.  With the right preparation and a little TLC, they can happily handle the journey to their new home.

🌿 How we package your plants

Every plant is sent in its nursery pot, so there's no need to repot your new plant as soon as it arrives. Keeping it in its existing pot helps minimise root disturbance and gives your plant time to settle into its new environment.

We carefully package every order using compostable wrap, ecotape and tissue paper to help keep the soil securely in the pot during transit. Hex wrap and packing peanuts are then used around the foliage to provide additional protection while your plants make their journey.

      📦 When your plant arrives

Your plant may look a little tired after its trip, that's completely normal! Once your parcel arrives, carefully cut through the tape on the outside of the box. Gently remove the tape securing the plant and the tape holding the soil in place, then give your new leafy friend some time to settle in.

We recommend keeping your plant in its nursery pot for at least 2 weeks before repotting. This gives it time to adjust to its new surroundings and helps minimise unnecessary stress.

      🚚 Where we ship

Unfortunately, due to state quarantine restrictions, we are unable to send live plants to NT, WA or TAS.

We currently ship live plants to VIC, NSW, ACT, QLD and SA.

Need to change your pickup time? No problem, just get in touch with us and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

      Returns & Refunds

We want your Ivy Jungle order to arrive safely, happy and ready to settle into its new home. While we don't accept returns simply because you've changed your mind, we're here to help if your plant arrives damaged or there is a problem with your order.

🌱 Plants can be a little sensitive after their journey

A little movement, a bent leaf or some minor cosmetic damage can happen during transit. This is completely normal and usually nothing to worry about. Plants are resilient, and with a little time and care, they will often bounce back beautifully.

If your plant has arrived with significant damage, however, please get in touch so we can take a closer look.

Please email hello@ivyjungle.com.au within 24 hours of delivery with:

      • Your order number
      • Clear photos of the plant and any damage
      • Photos of the packaging and box, including any visible damage
      • Any other details that you think may help us understand what happened

Please keep all packaging until we've had a chance to assess the issue, as photos of the packaging can be important when determining whether damage occurred during transit.

Once we've received your photos and details, we'll assess the situation and work with you to find an appropriate solution. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a replacement, refund or another suitable remedy.

💡 A few important things to remember

Plants are living things and can naturally vary in appearance. Minor leaf imperfections, small marks or slight changes in colour can occur and aren't necessarily considered damage.

We also recommend opening your parcel as soon as possible after delivery and following our Shipping & Delivery guidelines to give your plant the best possible start.

If your order arrives with an issue, don't panic, send us an email and we'll do our best to make things right.

      ✨ Change of mind

As our plants are living products, we don't accept returns or exchanges simply because you've changed your mind or no longer want the plant.

This does not affect any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
